Pleck neighbourhood Team Update

Good Evening All,

This is your weekly round up from the Pleck neighbourhood team and we have had another busy week!

Pleck police have attended a Hilary Street Litter Pick with the Pleck Litter Picking Team with a massive turnout including 3 local councillors. 

Police have also been out with WHG investigating a previous burglary that happened on Primley Avenue.

Dementia Awareness Day took place at Green Square Accord community Engagement Centre and has also been posted on our X page.

We have also put on a crime prevention stand for the Health And Wellbeing Event hosted by Pleck Library.

Multiple stop searches have been conducted this week. Also various positive outcomes and drugs have been seized as well as offenders have been dealt with. 

A shop lifter has been arrested in Pleck for Drug Driving.

2 Plain clothes operations have taken place this week and one in which was with trading standards. These operations took place in Palfrey, Pleck and St Matthews.

PCSO Fisher will be hosting a Police Surgery very soon on the 27/05/26 at Morrisons Café. This will be taking place at 11:00 and will last an hour. If you have any queries, general issues or just want to chat to a member of the police in general then please pop down. 

We will also be advertising our future PACT meeting each week. This is a meeting where any member of the community can attend to come forward with issues in the community and what they believe needs to be prioritised. This PACT meeting will be taking place at Nash Dom Community Hub, Sun Street, Walsall, WS1 4AL from 17:00-19:00 hrs on Wednesday 22nd July 2026. We look forward to seeing you!
